International: The recent appointment of former British Prime Minister Tony Blair as an international envoy to the Middle east has created quite a stir in the region. Many Arab groups have said they don’t trust him or respect him. Is Blair the right choice for the job?National: We’ve got Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Barack Obama, John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, Ron Paul and the list goes on. So, far eight Democrats and nine Republicans have officially declared their candidacy for President. Who do you think will be the dream team and why?

Statewide: Oregon public schools are going to get roughly a billion dollars in increased funds over the next two years, which translates to over $9,200 per student, one of the highest per-student spending ratios in the nation. Unfortunately, none of this new money will go to reduce class sizes, which also rank as some of the highest in the nation. So where is the money going?

Local: The Oregon State Beavers recently won the national baseball title for the second year in a row, and the Blazers won the Number One draft pick in the NBA draft. Can the Blazers keep up with the Beavers’ winning streak now that they have Greg Oden?
