International – (Richard Donin) Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf unceremoniously suspended the country’s Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry on March 9th, inciting thousands of lawyers around the country to stage hunger strikes, organize protests, and boycott court cases. President Musharraf’s government seems to be on shaky ground at the moment, but will it topple completely? And if it does, how will it affect the region? -National (Al Young) A sharply divided House of Representatives recently voted to bring US troops home from Iraq by next summer. President Bush immediately denounced the bill as an “act of political theater” and said he would Veto it.
